TSI Testing

What is the TSI? (updated January 2021)

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) measures the ability of students, as indicated by their skills in Reading, Writing and Math, to do college-level course work. Students who do not meet exemption criteria or have passed the required TSI sections, will not be permitted to enroll in a Dual Credit class.

The chart below are exemption criteria for TSI testing.

(SAT scores are accessed on students' College Board account, ACT scores are accessed on students' ACT account.)
