It's a great day in LISD!
Our Board of Trustees has kicked off our district's "
Recognized" rating celebration by honoring our schools
that earned an "
Exemplary" or "Recognized" rating by the Texas
Education Agency. During each home football game, schools are
invited to attend a pre-game or half-time ceremony where each
principal will receive an "
Exemplary" or "Recognized" flag to fly beneath
the national and state flags.
At The Hebron Hawk football game, Hebron High School,
Castle Hills, Coyote Ridge, Hebron Valley, Hicks and Homestead
Elementary Schools received a blue "Exemplary" flag.
Indian Creek and Polser Elementary Schools, Arbor Creek, Creek
