IPod/MP3 Players Policy

IPOD/MP3 Players- Originally these were permitted during passing periods. However, from the recommendation of our former administration this policy will change with the coming school year. The new rule will be similar to our policy on use of cell phones. The use of IPOD’s and MP3 Players during passing periods has created a safety concern for our students because of our failure to get their attention during this time; therefore, this equipment along with any other electronic equipment will not be allowed to be used during the school day. Any disciplinary action will be in accordance with the LISD Student Code of Conduct.
