English Summer Reading Requirements

All English students should come to class with the following materials.

Loose –leaf paper (wide-ruled for 9th grade).
Two Black or Blue Pens
Two #2 pencils
One pen of another color (green or red, for example).
One 2” three-ring binder
Dividers
One package of Post-it Notes, or similar brand
One package of markers (the basic, 6-8 colors is adequate. The brand does not matter.)
At least one highlighter (Light colors are better.)

Note:
Specific grade levels may add research supplies (3x5 and 4x6 lined index cards, for example), a spiral notebook, Kleenex, and/or other limited items. You may buy these additional items before school begins or wait to talk with your specific teachers.
