
MOPS
(Marcus Operations Promoting Success) is a committee created based on
the district’s implementation of Foundations,
part of Safe & Civil Schools services. Foundations
is a positive behavior support process designed to make Marcus High School safer,
more civil, and more productive.
MOPS
Goals include:
- Develop and implement common area policies
- Learn and use effective supervision skills
- Develop Guidelines for Success
- Survey staff and students about their perceptions of safety and civility
- Collect and analyze data (tardies, office referrals, etc.)
- Begin ACHIEVE Training - Framework for classroom management
in the high school
