MOPS

MOPS (Marcus Operations Promoting Success) is a committee created based on the district’s implementation of Foundations, part of Safe & Civil Schools services. Foundations is a positive behavior support process designed to make Marcus High School safer, more civil, and more productive.

MOPS Goals include:

  • Develop and implement common area policies
  • Learn and use effective supervision skills
  • Develop Guidelines for Success
  • Survey staff and students about their perceptions of safety and civility
  • Collect and analyze data (tardies, office referrals, etc.)
  • Begin ACHIEVE Training - Framework for classroom management in the high school
