LISD Junior-Senior Handbook (http://hhs.lisd.net/juniorseniorhandbook/jr_sr_handbook.htm)

Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (www.thecb.state.tx.us): A comprehensive site allowing access to online colleges, TASP information, financial aid info, admission requirements and much more.

Online College Fair Information (www.onlinecollegefair.com): Chat with admissions officers, professors and other students and learn about the colleges and programs in which you are interested.

Texas Virtual School (www.texasvirtualschool.org): All Texas students who are interested in preparing for this years SAT can participate in a FREE online review/preparation course. Visit this site student registration information and much more.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid - FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov): The FAFSA applications have arrived in the counseling office. This is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form that seniors, planning to enter any college or trade school, should complete and send in as early as possible after January 1, 2002. The FAFSA is a federal student aid program to help students afford college. Even if you believe you will not qualify because of parent income, you should still complete the application, because many other scholarships for college require that FAFSA be on file before they consider you for theirs. We suggest you complete the FAFSA on line for quicker and more efficient processing. Don't delay.

FastWeb (www.fastweb.com): Scholarship Search

Texas Common Application (www.applytexas.org): Apply online to Texas colleges
