The history of Boomba-Hey as told by Nancy Jones:
"Mark Scharenbroich was a motivational speaker who spoke about every three years at State Student Council Convention. I finally talked Mr. Sigler and LHS & TCHS into having him come here to speak at all three schools. He is an awesome speaker whom the kids loved. Always at the end of his speeches he led a "chorus" of Booma-Hey. He divided the audience in half; Boomba's on one side and Hey's on the other. When he pointed at each side they would yell either Boomba or Hey. The kids loved it. Mr. Sigler picked it up and used it at pep rallies, etc. But it originally came from Mark."
