Department's production of.... The Wiz !!
The Wiz is the Broadway musical version of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz , by
L. Frank Baum. Book by William F. Brown, Music and Lyrics by Charlie Smalls.
Dorothy's adventures in the Land of Oz have been set to music in a dazzling,
lively mixture of rock, gospel and soul music. Everybody knows the story,
but now it's a fantasy for today - mysterious, opulent and fanciful. Just

Presale tickets will be available for purchase January 21st-25th in the Marcus
cafeteria 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm during lunches or can be purchased from
your favorite Marcus theatre student. MHS teachers and staff will continue
to receive free entrance to all shows and other LISD teachers/staff will receive
tickets at the student rate. All performances will take place in the Larry
