DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!!!! by 1.5 points over Flower Mound.
Yes it is true....Your Lady Marauders OWN the District Aqua
Zone!!!!
It all started with Diving on Thursday Night. All 4 female
divers made it to the Regional meet placing 3rd-6th over all
and leading the way with an astounding 18 points for the Swimmers
to complete a championship on Friday night.
Now you might think that being 18 points ahead of everyone is
like being the Patriots not losing a game, but it was a fight
to the bitter end with Flower Mound. This title literally came
down to the very last relay, the 400 Free Relay (all 4 athletes
swim 4 lengths each). MHS was 1 point ahead and we were seeded
5th while Flower Mound had the first spot. If we stay 5th we
loose by 2 points, if we get 4th we win by 1.5 points. WOW the
Lady Marauders were pumped. The relay team of:
Kaylee T., Megan B., Aly W. and Amy M. all swam life time best
times to get 4th. What an exciting finish.
The entire girls team advances to the Region 2-5A Meet next
weekend at Loos Pool in Addison.
On the Marauder side we had some exciting swims as well please
remember we only have 8 boys to compete.
The entire boys team pushed to a forth place finish and all
will advance to the Regional level!!!
If you know a swimmer or a diver please tell them GREAT JOB

Hey Marcus the next time you see an Aquatic Marauder congratulate
them!!!
We swam Flo Mo tonight and the Lady Marauders continue their
success. The Lady Marauders are now undefeated!!! in Dual Competition!!!!
Lady M's 210 - Jaguarettes 191!!!! YUUUUP!!
The Marauder guys team.....well they got beat but put a great
fight for 11 guys against 22 guys, they only lost by 36 points
and that is not a lot!!! Great performance by Freshman Matt
A. who fought yard by yard to win the 500 freestyle in a BRING
DOWN THE HOUSE SWIM!!!
78% Best times were had by all. Thanks Mr. Knowles for coming
out we will see you in 2012!!!

What a great Regional Meet on Friday and Saturday. The Lady
Marauders were Regional Runner's up to the Lady Jags by 3 points.
These Lady's fought hard and had a great meet with all personal
best times.
The Marauders also had a great meet with all personal best time
and 2 guys relays making it back to the finals!!!
