State of Texas Consecutive Win Record!
The Marcus HS Boys Soccer Team gained the outright
record in the State of Texas with their 32nd
consecutive win. Klein (2000) and Klein O (1989) were at 31.

Welcome to the defending Class 5A State and
National Champions!
As Many of you know, we claimed the Class 5A State Title last
season with a phenomenal record of 30-0-0. We were also crowned
National #1 by the NSCAA/Adidas Poll.
The 2008 season is going to be a lot to live up to, but we
have worked extremely hard to get our program to the summit
and we are determined to stay there.

Flower Mound Marcus Head Boys Soccer Coach John Gall
has been named Southwest Region Coach of the Year by the National
Soccer Coaches Association of America and Adidas (NSCAA/Adidas).
He is now eligible for NSCAA/Adidas National High School Coach
of the Year honors. The National High School Coach of the Year
will be announced at the NSCAA/Adidas National Convention on
Friday, January 18, 2008 in Baltimore, MD.
Gall, in his 6th season, guided the Marauders in 2007 to
the Texas Class 5A State Championship, the Nation's #1 Ranking
by NSCAA/Adidas and a perfect 30 0 0 record. His overall record
is 120 30 12.
"What I'm most proud of is how my players have become
completely dedicated to their high school soccer program.
Six years ago I walked into a situation that players looked
at as a place just to have fun; now we're having fun through
all the hard work and commitment we all put in, every day.
2007 was evidence of how far the program has come and that
if you want something badly enough, you'll get it. I owe my
players and fellow coaches a great deal of thanks for giving
me a chance to show them how much this game means to me, and
in turn, we are reaping the rewards", stated Gall.
The Marauders will begin their State Championship Title defense
in January. Two more consecutive wins would give the Marauders
pole position in the State of Texas for most consecutive wins.
The current leader is at 31 with Marcus at 30.
